Jubitz Corporation is a family owned and operated truck stop, fueling provider and hospitality company started by Monroe A. “Moe” Jubitz. After Moe graduated from Yale University in 1939, he declined inquiries from the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees and returned to Portland. He took a job with a local trucking company and saw an opportunity in truck leasing, prompting him to open his own business in 1952 as Fleet Leasing, Inc.
Moe discovered that business opportunities for providing professional drivers with services such as fuel, food and accommodations were outpacing his original truck leasing business, and Jubitz Truck Stop was born. Every member of the Jubitz family pulled a shift in the early years, with sons Al Jubitz and Fred Jubitz working the first 24-hour shift in 1960.
Our management team represents over 100 years of collective experience in the commercial fueling, hospitality, and travel center industries. Our executive team can be reached at info@jubitz.com.

“The success and longevity of Jubitz can be traced to Moe Jubitz’s unwavering commitment to customer service. My father did his own market research. He asked customers what they needed, and added services that met those needs. Instead of expanding our business by opening new locations, we’ve chosen to expand and improve our services from a single location to create an extraordinary travel center which has also been an incubator for new products and services such as our former DAT Services division. In an era of large, multi-location chain travel centers, Jubitz remains a family-owned, single-location business that has thrived.”
