Don’t Miss Driver Appreciation Day on September 11
August 15, 2019
Jubitz Truck Driver Appreciation Day is coming up soon on Wednesday, September 11 from 10 am to 4 pm! This year’s event will be the best one yet. It includes a free barbecue lunch for all CDL holders, big prizes (including nine TVs) and new and returning businesses. These organizations will be doing games, giveaways and more.
The event falls during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. This week is set aside to appreciate the people most responsible for delivering America’s essential goods. In past years, as many as 400 truck drivers have attended.
The nation’s 3.5 million truck drivers have an impact on the lives of all Americans. These drivers deliver everything from the country’s food to the gasoline in everyone’s cars. Trucks move roughly 70 percent of America’s total freight tonnage. In addition to being vital to the U.S. economy, truck drivers are also valuable members of their communities and help keep our highways safe.
Thank you to our sponsors, who make this event possible:
