From packed rooms at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, to American Idol, Hailey’s voice remians as authentic as her story telling.

Headliner – Hailey Verhaalen

Hailey Verhaalen (Ver-Hall-in) is an undeniable talent. Whether she’s serenading packed rooms at places like the Bluebird Café in Nashville, or getting a ‘yes’ from all three judges on ABC’s American Idol – her voice remains as authentic as her story telling. “I’ve been singing ever since I can remember. My very first performance was at a third grade talent show, which was the moment I fell in love with performing and couldn’t stop. At 15 years old, the same thing happened with playing guitar and songwriting when my Grandma handed down her old Spanish guitar to me.”

Born and raised in Oregon City, Oregon, Hailey’s love for country music blossomed early on against the backdrop of her outdoorsy upbringing. She found solace in the storytelling and raw emotions that country music embodies. Drawing inspiration from iconic country artists such as Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, and Reba, Hailey honed her craft and developed a distinct sound that beautifully blends traditional country elements with a modern twist.

In pursuit of her dreams, Hailey made the bold decision in 2016 to move to Nashville, the heart of country music. Immersed in the rich musical culture of the city, she embraced every opportunity to collaborate with talented songwriters, musicians, and producers. This collaborative spirit allowed her to refine her sound and develop her unique musical identity. Hailey’s journey took an exciting turn in May of 2023 when she was handpicked to be a part of Tractor Supply’s prestigious Emerging Artist Program out of nearly 1,000 applicants. This incredible opportunity came when she caught the attention of country music star Ashley McBryde, who selected Hailey to mentor in the program. Hailey had the opportunity to sing on the Grand Ole Opry stage for the first time in October 2023 alongside Lainey Wilson, Lauren Alaina and the 3 of the other TSC Emerging Artists chosen to be in the 2023 program.

As she continues to grow and evolve as an artist, Hailey Verhaalen remains committed to staying true to her Oregon roots while embracing the opportunities that Nashville has to offer. With the support of Tractor Supply’s Emerging Artist Program and the guidance of industry professionals like Ashley McBryde and Lainey Wilson, Hailey is well on her way to becoming a force to be reckoned with in the country music world.
