COVID-19 FAQS

The Ponderosa Lounge is committed to the health and wellbeing of music fans, artists and industry staff. Given the recent increase in COVID cases, effective September 16th, entry to the Ponderosa Lounge & Grill will require proof of a full course of Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccination or proof of a negative PCR COVID test administered by a medical professional and taken in the prior 72 hours. We may also take temperatures at the door.

What forms of proof are accepted for entry?

Proof of vaccination may include a physical card or a photo of a complete vaccination card that matches the guest’s ID. Proof of a negative test administered by a medical professional may be a printed or digital test result that matches the guest’s ID.

Are masks required?

Masks are required in all indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status, unless you are seated at your designated dining table per the current State of Oregon mandate.

Don’t have a mask? Let any Ponderosa employee know, and they will provide you with one.

What if I am not vaccinated?

We understand some guests choose to not get the COVID-19 vaccination. Therefore, we accept negative COVID-19 test results taken within the prior 72 hours.

Why are these protocols necessary?

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our customers, staff and performers, and these measures are being adopted based on the latest information from health authorities and alongside developments in our industry nationwide.

What is the current capacity at the Ponderosa?

We are currently limiting capacity to 280 guests so that everyone can be seated.

What events are happening at this time?

Line Dancin’ Ladies Night, a no cover event, is on Thursdays from 7 pm – 12 am. Fridays and Saturdays are for DJ and Dance Nights from 7 pm – 12 am. Join us for a fun evening on the dance floor with a country dance lesson in the first hour!

What if I don’t want to follow COVID protocols?

We hope you will join us once COVID-19 procedures are no longer in effect! If you do not follow the COVID-19 safety rules, you may be asked to leave.

COVID-19 Impacted Shows (postponed and canceled)

The Ponderosa has been diligently working with artist representatives to reschedule all concerts and events impacted by the pandemic. If you purchased a ticket for a rescheduled show you will receive an email notification from Eventbrite with details for the new date. All tickets purchased for an original date will be honored for the reschedule. You can also keep up to date on all rescheduled shows via the calendar page of our website and Facebook events feed.

Canceled show ticketholders will all be notified by email letting them know how to refund their purchase.
