Terms and Conditions - PDX Battle Of The Bartenders

By participating in the PDX Battle Of The Bartenders event, all participants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility:

Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
Each team must consist of exactly two members.
All participants must possess a valid OLCC (Oregon Liquor Control Commission) license or equivalent licensing as required by the state.
Registration:

Teams must complete the official registration form, providing accurate information for both team members.
Incomplete or inaccurate registrations will be disqualified.
Event Format:

The event will be conducted as a bracket-style tournament.
Teams will compete head-to-head each week based on the established bracket.
The winner of each match will proceed to the next round until the grand finale.
Prize:

The grand prize for the winning team is $1000 for 1st place. Additionally, $500 for 2nd place and $250 for 3rd place.
The prize will be awarded collectively to the winning team and will not be divided among team members.
Competition Guidelines:

Participants are expected to demonstrate professionalism, respect, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
Participants must adhere to all OLCC regulations and guidelines while preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
Responsibility and Liability:

All participants are responsible for their actions and behavior during the event.
The event organizers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event.
Event Modifications:

The event organizers reserve the right to modify the event format, schedule, or rules if necessary.
Disqualification:

Any violation of OLCC regulations, unethical behavior, or failure to comply with event guidelines may result in disqualification from the event.
Media and Promotion:

By participating in the event, participants consent to the use of their names, images, and related content for promotional purposes.
Acceptance of Terms:

Participation in the PDX Battle Of The Bartenders event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The PDX Battle Of The Bartenders event aims to showcase bartending skills, foster camaraderie, and promote responsible alcohol service. All participants must uphold the highest standards of professionalism and adhere to the OLCC regulations throughout the event. The event organizers retain the right to make final decisions regarding any disputes or rule interpretations.
