Terms and Conditions - Ponderosa Battle Of The Bands

By participating in the Ponderosa Battle Of The Bands event, all participants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility:

Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
Each band must consist of at least three members to be considered.
Note: we can work with supporting tracks if no instruments are present.
All participants must possess legal identification to perform at the venue, as required by local laws and regulations.

Registration:

Bands must complete the official registration form, providing accurate information for all band members.
Incomplete or inaccurate registrations will be disqualified.

Event Format:

The event will be conducted as a bracket-style tournament.
Bands will compete head-to-head each week based on the established bracket.
The winner of each match will proceed to the next round until the grand finale.
Each band must be available each Wednesday from June 3rd to July 25th, 7-9pm, in order to be considered.

Prize:

The grand prize for the winning band is $2,000 and the chance to headline their own show on July 25th. Second place earns $500 and the opening slot on July 25th. Prizes are awarded to the band as a whole and are not divided among individual members.

July 25th Show:
Grand prize of $2000 and runner-up prize of $500 will be paid to headliner and opener on 7/25. The opener will go on from 9-9:45pm, and the headliner will go from 10pm-midnight.

Competition Guidelines:

Participants are expected to demonstrate professionalism, respect, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
Participants must adhere to all venue regulations and guidelines while performing.

Responsibility and Liability:

All participants are responsible for their actions and behavior during the event.
The event organizers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event.

Event Modifications:

The event organizers reserve the right to modify the event format, schedule, or rules if necessary.

Disqualification:

Any violation of local laws or regulations, unethical behavior, or failure to comply with event guidelines may result in disqualification from the event.

Media and Promotion:

By participating in the event, participants consent to the use of their band name, images, and related content for promotional purposes.

Acceptance of Terms:

By participating in the Ponderosa Battle of the Bands, you agree to these terms. The event showcases local talent, promotes professionalism, and follows all local regulations. Organizers have final say on disputes or rule interpretations.
